Nice NEW Axis SS
If I was in the market for one, and if I had the money...this would be a great buy!

Ha ha, I love causing turmoil in peoples lives...it truly is a beautiful guitar...I guess people don't try guitars before they buy...I guess it like marriage!tommyindelaware said:hmmmm.........

Man you can't play METAL with a stoptailmhorse said:tommy, humbuckers, not P90. I play mostly metal, so I prefer humbucking pickups. However, there is a really nice Axis Sport Stoptail there, with 2 hums. Veeery tempting.

Funny thing all my guitars have them (and I won't buy a guitar without), but I use them sparingly and when I do, it sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher having a coughing fitmhorse said:If you say so.... ;-)
Seriously though, I'm a lousy whammy bar user, I've never had one before I got my SUB. Now that I have it, I sometimes also want to bend up, not just down, so maybe one day I'll grow enough to use a fully-floating trem of sorts. But for now, no whammy bar is ok.

I regret trading my Axis Sport with the MM90's, I really never tried to work with those pups enough to get the right tone...oh well!AxSport4me said:I play mostly metal as well and i have a Sport with MM90`s........I think they smoke! I mean call me crazy, but these pickups are outstanding for metal in my opinion. I know there are other factors that make up the sound besides the pickups (amp,ect...) but i love the MM90`s!![]()

Tuning and re-stringing......not fun.
