Hey all, I am looking for the original 2" leather adjustable guitar strap that says Ernie Ball in RED or BLUE letters that was available in the mid 1990's. If anyone has one in mint condition and wants to sell it please email me at [email protected] Thanks a bunch!

Took me 3 years to finally find one and paid 60 bucks for it but well worth it. i hate that eb stopped making them and i e-mailed brian and he even said that he loved them but there wasnt a big market for such a strap. if anyone has more then one contact me after contacting the first poster.

Maybe if we all ask nicely, PRETTY PLEASE BP (and can get a sizeable order together) they would consider bringing them back. I think it was a cost thing and maybe if the demand is there they would bring them back. I have two Balls I would use them on so count me in for two!:D

Something I remeber was that they are looking at doing straps. I believe they are being tested....but no promises. I can't recall the thread at the moment though....so, we might be good to go in the near future......

I seem to remember the bass section were asking and someone chimed in from EBMM about testing some straps. I could be wrong....happened before....but I don't think I am....hopefully someone who really knows from EBMM will chime in....

I have one of these.....black leather with blue letters. Not for sale.

I would also like to see these available again.....very cool straps.

One difference though..........The one I have is so short. Puts the guitar way too high...I guess I wore my guitar pretty high back in the day.

I think these did come in short & long lengths. Mine is definitely the short.

The shorter one is the "Lord Bovine" edition. (inside joke.. he's one of the moderators here who gets flak for wearing his bass too high.)

Nice to see another player from western PA here. Where do you shop for guitars? I'd guess Brighton Music in New Brighton, but they don't carry EBMM guitars!

But those are really just rumors, I've heard.

Yeah those Wolf straps werre a great Idea........Peavey had absolutely Zero shame That was our strap design It was designed in house by Ron Saul before EVH ever came by

But BP, the question I raise at this time... Is there any chance of you re-issuing them? Even a short run for forum members only?

thank for the info BP!!! :)

i would like to see those in production again as well!!!

i hate to strap my EBMM EVHs on a Peavey Wolf strap :( , but it is soooo comfortable!!

I see the NOS EB straps in this design are bringing a pretty penny on ebay :( ...sure would be nice to buy a new one for a "reasonable price", as opposed to the inflated ebay prices!

Yeah - do one with a locking device (a la Schaller) that uses the existing button screws and you would have a great saleable item.
