One would assume you are using passive pickups with the VFE. I wonder how it would sound with the active EMGs of my Lukes. Have you tried it with active pickups?

I've not- i've used it with my 20th and a Tele and both sound incredible... if anyone in the sacramento area has a Luke i'd love to try it out for you...
