After a small delay my GK rig finally showed up. With the ability of pumping out 1080watts it is just insane (I am only running it in dual mono right now at 480 watts and it about blew me through a wall - I can't wait to try it bridged). What can I say other than it kicks my old SWR rig's butt. The Neo combination with the clarity of the head is unreal. It handles my Bongo 5 with no problems - and the cabs are soooooooooooo light compared to what I had. Thanks Randy for fielding all of my questions - it really paid off. Look forward it really putting it to work and getting a full review out there.

Ritch - Very cool to hear! Congrats!

I've been casually looking at GK for a little while now and your thoughts on the 2001RB are eagerly anticipated.

Jack,I believe that 1200S is 1200 watts @ 2ohms......Oddjob when you include the two 50 watt horn amps you are getting 1180 watts at 4 ohms bridged......:D
Here's a pic of the same rig as Oddjob's

+1 with my 1440w (not that I ever need to use it bridged)

2600 watts here. :p

Just messing with you! I know you'll enjoy that head. Give us a good long review after you've had the chance to tweak it a while.

Here it is - not the best picture (the lighting in, what my wife calls, "the man cave" isn't great for shots). I am auditioning for a band next Wed (actually playing the first set at a show) and I will snap some others then.

Andrew
Thanks Andrew - It is kind of sad that the head, when racked up, weighs almost as much as the cabs. But it has sooooo much headroom.

Nice!!!!!!If you feel like it, try stacking them on their sides.I prefer doing that cause you can roll them onstage and just flip em over without having to take the wheels off. This also gives you a nice big area to place your rack case........
Another Picture? Sure........

What settings are you using (as I muddle my way around the front pannel [so many usable tones])?

Nice rig, oddjob!

I'm making the crossover (back, actually) to GK equipment myself.

Just got back from San Jose with a 700RB that has been 'bored-out' to 540w @ 4ohms. $250.

I've still got the 115BLX-II and 210BLX-II cabs, and I've just ordered a 410BLX-II cab.

I'm going to pair the 210 and 410 together with the 700RB for the drive, and A-B-Y (LoopMaster) that rig to my Ampeg B2R with the SVT-15EN and 115BLX-II cabs for the low-end.

For Bay Area bars, this should be plenty of power.

Pic's on a new thread as soon as the 410 shows up. :D
