Ok, I was wrong, Becket did an awesome job and they are home again. Let's hope they can pull another one or two out of their behinds. Only time will tell.

eggie love it.....Baylor is a friend and we play golf a little in the winter here...I used to play with todd zeile....What happened to your tix?
got too hard to go to all the games with kids events, travel and all. Plus one of my ticket partners was a real pain. Still go to a few games. My announcer client gets us tix all the time. Had two seats to game 4 the other night - my wife and daughter went. People around here wanted to hang Hurdle and O'Dowd a few weeks ago but now they enjoy "god" status.

GO REDSOX....although I am feeling the kids in Denver are going to show up and play their asses off. That way that game 7 ended with that catch in the outfield was perfect...got to love the playoffs. If any of you have ever been to Coors field in Denver, you know these Rockies fans are going to give it to the Sox hard. They used to be real mild mannered fans but the past few years I think they got over having to wear that purple jersey and really get into the games...not nearly as rabid as my fellow New Englanders at home at Fenway, but they can amp it up when they need to. Tell you what though, I love my Fenway and the dive that is Yawkey way but Coors field is high end man...really beautiful. Aight, time to hit fanueil hall and knock a few back, work in the morning...LOL....:D

the kids in Denver will more than show up. The Sox better be ready for the Rox - fresh, rested and ready to kick ass. Going to be a great series. If I am not mistaken, didn't the Rox win two out of three from the Sox earlier this season?

BTW - Rockies wear mostly Black and Gray - very little purple! And Coors Field is amazing. When I first saw it in 1995 - I walked in the left field gate - walked through the concourse - and when I saw the field - actually took two steps back, I was in such awe!!! Absolutely beautiful!!

May the best team win!!

Go Rox!

True that. I turned the game off at 5-2 and was shocked to see the score in the paper this morning. Huge offense. I hope the Rockies bats haven't gotten rusty with this big layoff - they are capable of posting double digit scores too!

Go Rox!

I am in Orange County this week and will miss being in Denver for games 3 and 4. Going to try to get tix to game 5 (if needed) tomoorow if the G-D website works!

Hey BP - ever heard of Hybrex golf shafts. Your player Anthony Kim should check them out. I know some of the developer people. Lots of pros signing on. Trying to get a few people together for a dog and pony show in early November in Phoenix. Will try out the shafts and play a round with Tom Lehman (sorry for the hijack - now back to baseball).

This is why I'm torn during this fall classic. I'm a die hard Sox fan (not didn't jump on a bandwagon in 2004) But I've always been the one that roots for the underdogs or the feel good stories. And this year the Rockies are blowing every one away. 20 out of 21 games? You can't top that..... and if they come in to the classic with the same energy (all though they have had a record 8 days off) then they will toss the Sox out quick. The Sox dont have the team chemistry the Rockies do right now. Come on Manny, "not the end of the world if they dont win the series this year"....... You tell that to the guy in section 102 row 3 seat 4 thats been there every home game since 1976. Yeah. But we will see, The SOX always pull it together when they need to. So let's do it again.

there is no way the Sox get rolled.....they are on a roll right now in fact. Those last three games were won by the depth of that wicked lineup. Talk about not getting a break or any breathing room at all. Don't get me wrong...the Rockies have a great-great lineup 1-8 and an amazing bullpen. But I don't think the surging BoSox will give the Rockies bulpen a chance(as they'll be coming in trailing). The redsox have so many guys that can work a count and drag out at bats that its going to wear on that Colorado staff its sickening. Youk....is a stud and does everything right when you have a guy who can work the count like that batting in front of Papi(the other BP) and Manny its devastating. And we haven't even taken into account the Becket/Schilling combo(two of the most clutch playoff pitchers of our generation) With that said I'm pulling for the NL West team(stay with my roots). In order for them to win they MUST come out strong in game 2 and 3 and make absolutely sure that Becketts 2nd WS start isn't a series clinching game. Go Rockies!!!!

Here is to Manny dawning a SF uniform next year, HUMM-BABY!!

I've heard WS betting has broken many hearts (and wallets) in Vegas. :D

So have I.....

but hopefully you haven't putten that $$ down yet, cause while I do think its the Sox series and Colorado has an uphill battle(as in Mt. Whitney)...Im pulling for the Rock's and Yorvitt(ex Giant).
