I got an email from one of my students and thought it was kind of funny.
"Mr. P think I finally have my parents talked into a new bass. What do ya think... Bongo and Sting Ray? I know you play a Bongo and rave about it. I would like your thoughts."
Here I go, influencing the youth of America. Funny part is, I almost never (really) talk about music in my classroom, and have only talked about the Bongos a few times to other students between classes. With this kind of power maybe I should get some EBMM posters and some used basses for my classroom and start my own Bass Shop
- nah, the administration would probably frown on that.
Goes to show that kids are sponges and will pick up on almost anything.
