or a bottle of dr. pepper if you are under age...

Silly, Dr.P's are twist-offs or pop-tops these days. Anybody ever sees any in glass bottles, lemme know, ya hear. I am, after all, a good southern boy. ;)

All I need is the edge of a table, bench or whatever and I can pop that cap off no problem....

I pulled that trick in front of a friend of mine. He loved it so much, he tried it himself. The bottle cap came off with the top half of the bottle. I was glad it was his first one because he was sober enough not to shred his mouth to pieces. We found a bottle opener after that.

+1, especially the Divine Miss Beffipoo...no contest there...

Her avatar still creeps me out a little though...and she's not above my "over 40" age barrier....damn it!!

Dont you just love a gal who knows how to open a beer without a lighter!!!!!!

that's a sport over here! I can open a beer bottle with almost everything, shovels, tables, chairs, closets, central heating,.... It's the sport to 'shoot' the top of the bottle as high in the air! It's a fun sport!

I've perfected opening bottles with my wedding ring.
Can barely see the scars in my ring finger from my training.

I'll probably use them for walking a lot more than for opening bottles.

Although I will be in Jamaica the week after next and Red Stripe doesn't have twist off bottle caps.

Of course, if you use the bottle opener too much you won't be able to walk anyway.
