OT: Roger Waters to join Pink Floyd for Live 8

The London concert of Live 8 should be one great concert and the fact that all the original members of Pink Floyd are coming together for it is even better news. I'm a HUGE Pink Floyd fan and wish I could of seen them in their prime. I can't wait till I get to see the show on DVD sometime down the road.

and oh yeah... I realize it's not ALL the original members, as Syd Barrett was the original guitarist/vocalist. I'm talking about the Pink Floyd that put out the Wall, DSOTM, Animals, Wish You Were Here...etc ;)

I was listening to a local radio station earlier today and they were listing the groups that would be at each of the Live 8 concerts. London certainly got the cream of the crop on this on.
 
That's sure to be a blast! Got me thinking back a few years, though...

There's only one way to experience Pink Floyd... NYC Hayden Planetarium laser-light show.

Those who know what I mean know what I mean! ;)

I saw Pink Floyd (sans Roger Waters) play at Yankee Stadium in 1994. I paid $75 apiece for scalpatron tickets and it was worth every penny. Easily the best live show I've ever seen and the light show was absolutely to die for.
 
Yep..saw the Wall in New York at Nassau Collisium In Jan 1980.
