I started on drums.....had an 8 piece double bass kit......what a chore for auditions to carry that crap all the time.

And I was a damn good drummer, too!

I have heard of people upgrading from drummer to bassist... but never downgrading.... did you notice any change in your speech formations....

(let it be known that I am drummer in a bass players body and any drummer jokes are mostly insecurity).....

.....but...........this bass playin' is slowly taking me over......i freakin' love it.


and to add..........NEVER sell your gear man......i've kept all my gear over the years and now have a studio full of guitars,amps,basses and drums.

i try and play them all the time.........but that damn Sterling just keeps calling me the minute i step into the room.
