Operation Mindcrime...definitely one of the best. They can't do a show without playing that whole album or a riot would erupt....heheheheh......

Currently listening to Joe Satriani - Flying in a blue dream

I had an appetite for some live Marillion myself.. but I spun the "Real to Reel" / "Brief Encounter" double disc... mostly for the fun solo at the end of "Cinderella Search".

I haven't heard that album, although Made Again is the only Marillian album l've heard, I borrowed it of the keyboard player from my band, and it's been mine ever since, hehe, but man Steve Rothery can do some very tastefull solos, and l love his tone.

But today it's all about King's X.

Scott,

Wow.. if you've only heard "Made Again", then you need to hear more Marillion! Not to get this thread too far off topic, but they have two distinct eras: one with their original singer Fish, and then with their current singer Steve Hogarth. Personally, I love Fish-era Marillion which includes anything up to about 1989 when Fish left.

Therefore I will now spin Marillion's disc "Misplaced Childhood" which is for many their best album ever (released in 1985). Listen to this disc repeatedly and you will understand why Steve Rothery is so friggin' awesome.

I've just that much new music to listen to, l just raided a mates cd collection, and been listening to alot of music, it's getting hard to keep up.

Today it's Rush - the spirit of radio greatest hits and Test For Echo (a fantastic album).

Scott.

The one with Good Morning little School girl? And be careful with a fool? If it is, that is one of my favorite albums of all time. I think it was his first. If it isn't the same album, never mind. Good Night.

I have been listening to Danny gatton Cruisin Deuces

I am currently enjoying NorM's cd. It's amazing how clean we can get our home recordings, isn't it? Gotta love technology for that. (and hate it for a million other reasons!)
