George Hawkins needs a Bongo.

He didn't say that or anything and he really likes the Stingrays, but I'm good friends with JF's guitar tech and I've just independently decided that George needs a Bongo.

Don't you think?

Of course, I think everyone needs a Bongo.

Last night, I had this dream that Derek gave Charo a single H Bongo 5.

Then he fed a live frog to a duck, which killed the duck.

But anyway.

Jack...as a friend, I'm telling you...lay off the guave worm!

That's SO weird! I had a dream that a duck was trying to play a Bongo, but since it had no thumbs, he couldn't slap n' pop, so he traded it to a frog for a Stingray with flatwounds. Then I ate them both.

When I woke up, I was trying to restring my toilet seat.

I've spoken with George a few times regarding the Bongo. John Fogerty really likes to have "traditional" and somewhat vintage looking instruments in his band from an image standpoint. George was open to the idea for other gigs that he does.

He is playing the new 2 pickup Ray models at least half the time, so its nice to get exposure on those as well. The new 2 PUP Ray will be in the upcoming Fleetwood Mac DVD that he did.
