Looking for help from you guys with serious pedal setups.
Researching options for equipment when I get back to the US. Amps will come later, so I'm starting with pedals. I've always played multi-fx boxes but need to figure out something new that will work with my new JP and any other balls I acquire in the future.
First things first... volume/pan pedal to switch piezo/nonpiezo signals? I'll have a stereo out from my piezo JP into the EB splitter box, meaning two mono signals, and I think I want a stereo pan/vol pedal to do the work switching between A/B signals. I figured this would be better than a simple on/off switch which is always a bit harsh... also I think JP uses this kind of setup? So I was looking at the 500K Stereo/Pan Volume Pedal (P06165) to do the job. Will this do what I'm looking for? Have never seen one in a store to try out. Figured the pedal could be used for full on A signal or full on B signal or a mix of both.
Second (and in my ideal money-is-no-object world) I'd like to have 2 other expression pedals, one master volume which controls both A and B routes and also a wah pedal. I'm trying to get an idea about how to route this, especially thinking about where the compressor will eventually go in the line. Master volume last? I don't know. Obviously too I'll take suggestions as to which pedals are best, I don't have much experience in this area.
Appreciate any help you wonderful forumites can give me. Hopefully this is the beginning of a lot of questions/research/help toward a new setup.
