So I finally got a round tuit
When you see the picture maybe you will understand why the other effect boxes have set in my cabinet for so long. This is the controller for the Johnson amp. The effects processor is effectively a Digitech 2120 built into a 150-watt tube amp with two Celestion V-30s. Then I got the matching 2x12 cabinet. The stereo is scary good sounding. With the effects processor ANY parameter on ANY effect can be controlled with a rocker pedal. Want to rock in just a touch more delay to help that note sustain at the end of a solo? Two "volume" type pedals came with the floorboard and the back of the amp lets you plug in 2 more. Notice there is only one line coming from the Ernie Ball Volume Hammers. The EBVH's are used as voltage controllers to vary parameters on the processor. I generally set the four rockers to control. From left to right. Effects mix (generally chorus delay and reverb), Volume, Clean and dirty channels, Wah. The "rock in" idea is a Steve Morse invention. I don't know if Digitech even does this anymore. You can do it on the Cyber Twin but only with one parameter per preset. Not four like on the Johnson Millennium. Then all of my effects are wired up with only three cables. One Din 5 midi for the Johnson controller and two 1/4" mono cables for the EBVH's.
The other pedals are just a midi controller that run to a midi sound generator so I can get the cool deep bass sounds ala Rush and Floyd. They are cool in many ways.
