Wow, no kidding..........the similarity is evident.

Solar Burst on the JP and Solar Flare on the y2d, but similar in concept to the classic honey burst on the pdn. Reds are a very difficult color to capture.

Great pics Pete and I can see all the heavy hitters are there, you guys must be having a blast! So glad to see they picked two great colors for the Reflex, I have been playing my 25th solely the last few months and it is simply a great ax- hope the new colors help get more of them out there.

Any word on what the street price on the Armadas will be? The Black on Black does it for me and I just get the feeling they are going to play and sound amazing. Lots of very cool new finishes -keep em coming.

While that is a nice change, the pics confirm I made the right choice going with Lake Tahoe Blue instead of waiting for the new finish.

Thanks for posting those pics Pete! The blackburst is really just sublime. Definitely in my crosshairs. I do really like the new LIII as well with that color and the roasted neck. But overall everything looks great. The pacific blue on the reflex is a nice way to go! Also looking forward to seeing some more of the solar flare on the Y2D. Looks very similar to purple sunset in those pics.

Is that koa Luke still an island bust? It looks less red/orange around the edges.

Yes, that's an island burst koa - it's tough to get a good red/orange to accurately show in photos.

Yes I have more photos to edit and share with the bass side. That is tomorrow's project! Internet was horrible at NAMM and I got home 1230am today.

It is available to order, they have not hit the streets yet. It will most likely be 3 months or longer before you see them on store walls.
