By cracky, I think you might be onto something. 'Course there probably is an R&D version floating around.

Yeah, that would be nice, but why stop there? Why not put that pup cover + bezel in it? & sandwiched binding (Axis could use some drop-top, seriously), rosewood neck, martini inlay, 2 more single coil + switches, oh & don't forget the 7th string?
