Can you order a Misic Man Stingray 4-string bass without the pick guard? I think everything about the bass is great other than the pick guard. It looks like a big pick.

One solution is a clear guard.
The other solution involves living with the little holes.
And verbal spanking...bovinehost said:There are so many ways to approach a reply, Paul, but all of them lead to madness.
Wow, thats the complete opposite of most people's problems with the pickguard. Usually when people have a problem with a pickguard, its the SR5 and not the SR.nashman said:The Stingray 5 pick guard is nice ... does it fit on a Stingray 4?

Thanks!nashman said:The clear pick guard is an interesting option ... I didn't see it listed as an option on the site. Midopa ... your Bongo looks awesome with or without ... you are right ... it's not bad with just the screws in place.
I bleeb only the early SRs had extra routing for the pickup. From what I've seen, my Bongo included, the space for the pickups underneath modern EBMM basses is pretty tight.paz117 said:won't takin off the pickgaurd lead to an area around the pickup of empty space or something i seem to remember that from when i tried it and was annoyed, but maybe it was a different instrument.
