I may be wrong but I don't think that has anything to do with it. The tension is different between a 22 fret and 24 fret neck. Sub1 Zero said:24 frets is important to me, because it is 2 octaves above the lowest pitch, while the 22nd fret is a 7th. its nice to have that extra octave when you are soloing
