The Sterling sounds really nice.

So Crystavox...I checked out your page for a minute or two...So this was your band years ago...nice! Which major acts did you get to play with back in the day?

Crystavox is actually a band that I am very good friends with. I have never played for them but have done a lot of work with the guys on different projects over the years. As far as playing for them goes, they already know that I would in a heartbeat if they ever needed me too. Coincidentally, they have also never had an official bass player so who knows if someday it won't happen? They just released the 20 year re-mix of both albums they put out in 1990 and 1992 and I think are writing for a new album right now but there is no official release date for it because everyone in the group works full time jobs. There is also no plans for any shows at the moment but I guess if they put out a new album in a year or two, then that might change then.

As far as the gigs they have done, in the late 80's and early 90's they did some pretty decent size shows where they were the headlining act as they were a top Christian rock band at that time. They played Cornerstone in Illinois (I think in the Chicago area) a few times. I have never been there but it is my understanding that it is a pretty big annual Christian rock music festival. Crystavox has also done some shows with Guardian, who was another pretty big act in the day, and I know a few others but the bands escape me at the moment. The guys are all great guys and I consider the mall dear friends. It was actually their music that turned my life around and eventually led me to becoming a pastor. Had there been no Crystavox, I highly doubt I would be who I am today.

Oh that's interesting...I can see the play on words...and the religious reference...Crysta-Vox...could be, "Christ's Voice." Good for you, I'm glad they were influencial in turning your life around. I was the opposite end back in the early 90's....I listened to nothing but death metal, and sang in a local (on a military base) band. I liked my music mean...but gre up going to Catholic schools, so I never strayed very far. :) Now I'm quite a bit more relaxed, and about as crazy as I get is some punk music.

Yep, that's what it means. Crystavox is Latin for Christ's voice.

I just found out I may be doing some local work in the next few weeks. If so, I'll post up some of the stuff I do.

My band, Agora Forte, just received the first pressing of our debut album this Tuesday. The record is called Monuments and, more relevant to this forum, is the second album I've played on using exclusively Music Man basses. In fact, four of the instruments in my signature line were used here, including both Bongos.

This is my proudest accomplishment in the time I've been playing bass (over 15 years). If you'd like to hear some of the songs, feel free to click on the link in the signature line below. If you like what you hear, PM me about how you can have a copy of the entire record!

Sorry if this is a dead thread! But I recorded this in the wee hours of the morning and would like to share it with you guys.

Oh and if the volume of the bass is too soft, wear headphones! That seems to work a lot better..
I use my MM Bongo 6 HH with a Zoom B2.1u with slight chorus and delay :)
Enjoy guys!

Okay so here I go again haha.
I've updated 'Outsider' So now it's slightly different Outsider by TherealAcameron on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free
And a new song I recently completed is titled 'May The Mountains Guide Us...' Which you can find here! May The Mountains Guide Us... by TherealAcameron on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free

Both are available for Free Download if you wish, and both were recorded with my trusty Bongo 6!
Thanks in advance!
