Very nice Martin! Singer has a very unique voice, bass stands out big and proud! Was looking at some of the other videos, is that you with the busted fingers playing on that one video????

nope i just cut that track and another in the studio .. I think he's always using different guys out gigging ...

Gotta be hard core to have a cast like that and still be out gigging!!! I applied splints like that before in ED. Usually caused by what we call a boxer fracture. Usually happens on a Friday or Saturday nite, people in fights or the more usual - punching a wall! Gotta love drunks......

Instead of doing just another demo we decided to do some videos in the studio (aka our rehearsal room) and I used my then brand new Stingray Classic V for all three of them:

Thank you so much, tbone and J - I'm really flattered!
We are pretty lucky, because we have some good connections: the sound was done by our second keyboarder who is an audio engineer and a good friend and fan of Jamiroquai is a cameraman with his own little enterprise and he shot the vids in our rehearsal room.
I can't really tell you how the recordings were done as I am a complete dummy when it comes to the more technical aspects of recording - I came to the session, plugged into a laptop and then the drummer and me played the songs together. As far as I remember I had the bass approximately in the center detente and the highs pretty much cut.
