You know, PMing BP would only add to his frustration. It might be fun for us, but not for him. The reason people have PM'ed him before is that they were new, didn't know better, or just didn't care, as was previously mentioned.

However, we should know better than that. We've been asked not to, and not just because it annoys BP, but it actually wastes his time. I don't want to make everyone look bad, and I'm sure that few of you would have actually PM'ed him, but still, as the "more knowlegable" members of the forum, I say we do what BP asks.

Edit: This actually seems a bit harsh... I'm sure you guys wouldn't have actually gone through with the PM's, so I'm sorry about that. But I'm gonna leave this up, just as a reminder,

I like the idea of publicly displaying these pm's. But there's always the chance it will encourage some of these dodos to do it, just so they can have there 15 Min's of fame

You know, it could be worse.

You could have taken out an ad in Bass Player giving everyone your cell phone number and had to listen to someone actually telling you that while you tried your best not to laugh.

Oh wait, Larry Hartke already did that.

Never mind. :D

I'll tell you what... I get more enjoyment reading about Big Poppa's Monday PM more than reading about his Monday BM even though they both are essentially the same thing.

This thread reminds me of something I must take care of.
There's a crack in the sidewalk down the street. I have to call the Prime Minister!!!

Wow, lots of attention. I guess I was just impressed with how personal BP seemed to be with his customers. I'm sorry if I didnt choose the proper method of contact or maybe the wrong person. I'm sure he is very busy, and didnt know that he had a problem with being pm'd, or didnt have somebody (or the software) to sort the crap from the important for him. Forgive me for not researching the situation before hand. I thought I saw an interesting opportunity that does not happen very often. Maybe not. anywho, I got a laugh or 2 so what the hey...

+1 with francric. It's a neat idea IMO.

Also, bassmonkeee's suggestion in the other BP PM thread seems good IMO. That is, having another non-public account reserved for PMing and disabling PMs on your main.
