Post number 900 for me is a special one.....got my Radiance Red JP-6 w/piezo today! Took her out of the case and man, the color is just unbelievable. Especially in the sunlight.....nice....I gave Bassplayr a call to let him know it arrived safe and sound and then went to the "room" to give her a spin. Of course, the neck felt like all the others and nothing new there. Piezo was flawless as I played through a clean channel. In fact, I left it there and played for several hours. Man, that is such a wonderful guitar. Pics will be posted shortly.

Sweet! Let's see that danged thing!

By the way, I sure hope you plan on playing the piezo through a PA or better yet, a Strawberry Blonde (or other acoustic amp). It's just not the same otherwise!

Rad Red is an eye saturating color that is undeniable. Thanks for the 900 alert. It's always good to hear your words.

Koogie,

Congrats on both your milestones. 900 posts is really impressive. I dunno
if I'll ever get there, I'm kind of a quiet guy.

Also, enjoy the Rad Red Pet. I sure do enjoy mine!

Koog, Looking forward to seeing the pics. It was a beaut when it arrived and it was tough for me to let the UPS man take it. I think if he knew what it was, you would've never have gotten it! Have fun amigo!!

Awesome pics Koogs. I see you installed a Seymour Duncan pup in the bridge position of your JP PRB. Were you not satisfied with the custom DiMarzio pup that shipped with the guitar?

I changed both pups in the PRB. I have a SH-58 at the neck and a Dimebucker at the bridge. I actually like the pups that come with the JP's, but I wanted something a with a lot more bite for the really heavy stuff....so, I got the Dimebucker for that and the SH-58 is wonderful with clean tones. Just a different sound is all I was after. I really like the sound of it.....all my others are stock pups and will stay that way.

Yeah, I saw you had to get rid of yours....that sucks. I think the ones with the black headstock were a limited run. I wanted mine to be matching anyway...I just never liked the black with the red.....this one is just stunning. Plays by itself almost. Wish it could go to work for me, cause it seems to be able to do things on it's own! heheheheheh....

Koogie, do you think that the piezos are worth the extra money? I'm still trying to decide whether I want the pay the extra bux for them.....
