These things are great, and they even come with batteries! Simply a must-have for techs & repair people

We do a lot of repair work and restring guitars all day long - I tried one of these out on Friday and it certainly sped up the process, not to mention saved my wrist! I have been waiting on these for a while, and a big case showed up on Thursday. I felt like a kid in a candy store... er... guitar store?

Edit - please excuse the cell phone picture

Thanks Pete, sure beats this little compact drill I have!!!! Every guitar player NEEDS one of those, because strings should always be fresh on ALL your guitars. And, we all know how many MM guitars we own!!!!:)

But as we've said, EBMM guitars all have locking tuners....so we don't need them. Only those players of other makes!

Come on guys, get with the program!!!!! LOL

First off, all of my Axis guitars do not have locking tuners.
Second of all, even if they did have locking tuners, you still need to put on extra winds - not for tuning stability though!!

Come on now, anyone regularly giggin out there knows why!

So, in conclusion, you still need a EB Power Peg.:)

I guess I did over 500 gigs with my Silhouette Special and never put any winds on the tuners or had any tuning problems. I thought the whole idea of the locking tuners was to pass the string straight through, tighten it up and clip it off.

Apologies for not being with your program.....obviously you know something I don't.

My original comment was not really meant to be taken quite so seriously, I have no doubt the PPs are fine and useful products.
