Congratulations!!! Good score. I cant wait to hear it. Let me know if you need some beginner 5 string switch tipps. Here is one free of charge :)

Practice any D, E or G you like scale across 2 octaves starting on the B. Dont forget to lightly rest your thumb down too E sting when you play the D and on the A string when you play the G. Doing this helped me get my head around muting.

im also trying this new thing where i tune mine like a 5 string banjo, use a thin pick, and strum chords with the 7th in the root position. no one likes it, but im positive theyll come around. confidence is the main thing.

Congrats Grand Wazzoo. Spurned but still effective in spreading the bongo love.

...since his overall shape has the best matching proportions i've ever seen on a bass.

...
Some days ago I had the chance to put my fingers on some EB 5 stringers (Big AL, 25th, Bongo) and I liked the f-l-a-t Bongo neck by far the best.

I knew I had to have a Bongo 5.

Same experience here ;)

(except §3 that is excluded for this year)

Congratulations! :)

Thanks a lot for the kind words. I added some photos of the Bongo to my gallery. Here's an example. I hope you'll like them...

V nice - I'm sure the Grand Wazzoo must have wrapped his Bongo headstock in cotton wool all these years - no dings - perfect finish. Enjoy, guenter - and beware of that bass EQ boost :p

Yes, the Bongo arrived here in absolutely perfect condition.
I nearly unroofed my house. Yep, I'm careful with that bass EQ!
