1) By "arm" do you mean the neck?
2) It is very difficult to diagnose a problem over the internet without having the guitar on a workbench in front of me.
You can contact Music Man Customer Service directly for advice (see the links in my signature below this post). Your guitar is four years old and out of warranty so any repairs and shipping to return the guitar to them will be at your own expense. I think your best bet is to take the guitar to a local lutheir or guitar tech for diagnosis and repair.
