WOW This is so cool!

Thanks for taking the time Vinnie!
BP announced you as the best Silhouette player in the world so I was thrilled to hear you play at the Open House. I loved hearing my favorite guitar played as well as you played it.

1) What configurations do you like on your silos?
Bridge
Colors
Fretboards
Pick Up Configurations
Body Wood

2) What is it about the silos that makes them attractive to you?

3) Have you done any custom things to make them yours? (Hot rodding)

4) What is you latest release where we can buy some tunes of you shredding a silo?

Thanks a bunch
NorM

The Silo is awesome as it is. But why won't you let BP and EBMM make you a signature guitar??

No kidding. He's got a silver one with a black pickguard, OFR, 22 frets... I'd kill for that.

I say its high time for a Moore model.

Would that be like a Morse model with some extra "O" and a little less "S"?

I thought 22 frets is a Silo special. 24 is the Silo. Am I missing any thing?
The preceding question is rhetorical

Which are you playing/like Vinnie?

Hey Vinnie, have listened to your Meltdown album for years now and still love it. Here are a few of my questions:

1. Do you still bust out the Heartfield Talon on tracks?
2. What major adjustments were necessary when you moved from the talon to the Axis to the Silhoutte?
3. Did you try all models of EBMM when you started using them? What did you think of the Luke model?
4. Do you use custom pickups or stock? If custom, which ones and why?
5. What is your typical day like these days?

Thanks,

Dom

Vinnie,

How difficult was it taking over the Schenker role in UFO?

Do you have a wah wah stuck halfway for all solos?

Is it in your contract to bail out halfway through a tour :)

Are you playing Love to Love live?

Great seeing you at the Open House - come back to the UK soon

Hey Vinnie, I just saw you play with UFO for the first time a little while back in NYC at BB Kings club. That was an AWESOME show. Well, I basically went to see the show to see you play, and I loved it. So my question is, are you gonna go on tour as a solo act any time soon? And what made you decide to play with UFO instead of your work? Thanx for being so generous and for being as great as you are. Cheers.

Vinnie,

First let tell you that Mind's Eye is still one of my favorites and influences.

Do you see yourself touring solo? Maybe as part of a package tour?

I'd like to see you (and Steve Morse) take a turn in G3. Does working in that sort of arrangement interest you?

Thanks,

Dennis >^..^<

Vinnie...

Any chance of you coming to Connecticut this coming Spring/Summer to do a guitar clinic? I would like to host a clinic through my store.

After seeing your performance at the Open House I had to grab some of your CDs - I picked up The Maze and Mind's Eye. Simply amazing is all I can say!

Vinman!

First, thanks for years of inspiration. No one player has had a bigger influence on my playing than you, and Time Oddessy is still in my CD player after what - 15 years? I think The Maze was a fantastic CD.

1) In the opening of Morning Star (Time Oddessy), how in the hell do you play the 5 notes passages so cleanly? Sweep picking?

2) Probably the wrong forum...but any chance you'd have an old signature Ibanez you consider selling me? I've been hunting for one of those splatter guitars for years and never thought I'd get to correspond with the man himself about one. You are a true guitar hero to me, and getting one of your guitars in my collection would be an honor.

Thanks.

Vinnie-

Your playing is so technically proficent- you never seem to miss a note! What's your practice regimen like- how often, what kind of routines, etc. I'd also like to know how you warm up before a show.

I'm not following you on the O, S thing.

And I tend not to like 24 fret guitars.

How about some better questions for one of the best guitarists of our generation?

Vinnie, how do you keep your chops up? I have both your videos and the first talks about warming up. Have you developed anything different in the 10 years since those were released? Have you found any improvement tools / books / videos by other players you'd recommend? Any chance of a new DVD?

Thanks,

Brett
