In another 17 years that '99 model will be "vintage". Are you going to off it before then so you don't get lumbered with an old piece of crap?
I was referring to the hype everyone makes about the vintage instruments today. EBMM is making basses better today than they ever have. Why would I want to buy a bass that's got 30 years of someone else's mojo on it?
Will I play my SR5s when they become vintage? Yes. They weren't vintage when I bought them were they?
