Holy inspiration Batman! I just gave my Reflex its first tru-oil and wax treatment since the one I did when I got it (January). Put a set of m-steel 10's on and whoa!!! This already outstanding guitar's sound just went through the roof! Simply amazing. The output and expressiveness are off the charts! I'm in Love all over again. The Reflex rules!!!! 😃

EDIT- title should read EB M-steels obviously 😄

I am a diehard Super Slinky guy. I tried the cobalts and they felt like the wound strings were grabbing on to my fingerprints and resisting my legato. I didn't like the way that sliding around made my fingertips feel. So, with much reluctance, I tried the m steels...and, I am glad that I did.

They feel almost exactly like the Super Slinkys, but they are much louder. I play my electrics unplugged often, like while watching tv. I try to mimic the background music or the music on commercials. (try it - it's fun:)) The m steels are much louder acoustically. They really shimmer with bell-like clarity. Playing amplified, they really sound powerful. They make me want to rip into a power chord and raise my picking hand up by my shoulder while the chord just hangs in the air...you know, 80's arena rock style.

So, I give a thumbs up to the ebmm m steels.
