Ten years ago this September EBMM had the first EBMM Forum Bash. What are the chances of having a ten year reunion? How many of you knuckleheads would go.....................

Some kind of get together would be nice. Those things were a wonderful gift to us from the company.

You wouldnt be invited imo.

Jamie, EBMM, had an Open House in SLO for a weekend. Myself and whole bunch of other forumites made the trip and it was the weekend. It was a factory tour, a meeting of EBMM employees and a meeting of the people you had been talking with online there was a concert and a huge bash as well. It was a great time and I personally still remember it fondly.

I'm sure back then it was pretty expensive, I could only imagine what it would cost now.

I use to have pictures, guess I'll have to dig them up and put them online again.

Have a bash, sell some guitars and basses at the bash. You'll make up some of your money. By then I'll save up some money and buy a MM right from you............................

Wow, that would be a blast!

It would amazing for me to see these guys on the same stage, and they're all still actively playing! (it could happen)

Hmmmm... I could justify the plane ticket to be worth a ticket to see all three of these guys...

Who asked for your opinion Keith. Not playing guitar, good, nobody wants to hear that endless finger picking song of yours anyway...................

Hahaha...Awesome!
2 good reasons why those hangs were so meaningful and memorable.

I should really contact Pfizer about some Phase I clinical trials.

Ouch....this thread hurts. 10 years....damn. The shirts and goody bags are still in my guitar closet! Loved the slinkies with our names on the package!

Also Jamie, when Strings n Things were doing the major exhibitions in the UK - London excel, Birmingham NEC, there used to be a knucklehead bash/party in the evening. Had all kinds of people playing - Albert Lee, the back line of Jamiroquai - food drinks, guitar raffles. They were great great events. However in the modern economic climate you have probably noticed that there isn't exactly a plethora of good guitar shows in the uk?- you be staggered by what exhibitors are being charged for stands, ouch!

Those parties graciously provided by S & T together with EB, cost big bucks, took a heck of a lot of organising and I'm grateful for them and have Many fond memories (and photos).

Sterling did a great thing with them events by the looks and sounds of it and I appreciate it must have cost a lot of cash.

The last 3 years I went to the Great British Guitar Show in Birmingham, well organised event but its not on this year probably down to what you have said. Its a real shame pricing kills most good things.
