I was diagnosed today with DIVERTICULITIS and had no idea such pain would be involved. DO NOT GET THIS. IT REALLY SUCKS.

Unless you like stomach cramps and eating nothing but clear chicken broth.

Anyway, I'm going to live but it has kind of put a damper on all thing joyous these last few days.

Sorry to hear that Jack, my mother-in-law was recently diagnosed with the same thing. I hope you feel better soon!

My brother-in-law has this and he had an "attack" a few years ago. He is the type to avoid going to the doctor or hospital. He was finally forced into going to the hospital and they did emergency surgery to remove 20% of his colon. They told him that had he waited much longer he could have died. He as to avoid nuts and seeds as these get caught in the lining and cause swelling and blockage.

Brother, I know how you feel! I've had it for about 4 years, and have had several attacks. The conditions is actually called Diverticulosous. When you have an attack then it's
diverticulitis. I had to eventually find out that it was popcorn causing my flare ups. Since I cut that out, I haven't had an attack going on 2 years.

I had that once, many years ago. The pain was indescribable. Not quite to serious burn pain (nothing is like that), but I thought I had to get better to die.

One test they did in the hospital CLEARED things up/out and the pain went away immediately. I didn't mind glowing blue for a couple days afterward.
