Hmm...

Strings are probably the only things on the horizon, although I am thinking of getting an EBMM wah. Need to e-bay some stuff first though.

I usually have a number of guitars that interest me, but I always get sidetracked by something I didn't expect from EBMM. They do such a good job at making me want their new stuff that I never get around to getting stuff I actually thought about getting.

Things from EBMM I'm interested in getting (plans that will definitely be derailed)--not necessarily in 2010:
10th Anniversary JP (Y1D?)
Something with The Game Changer. Reflex? Who knows?
Sterling Silver JP7
Luke
SM-Y2D Purple Sunset, hardtail, non-matching headstock
Silo Spec BFR (if and when we ever see one)

A rosewood necked dual hum AL or ASS (dependant on how an AL plays as I've never had the chance to play the neck compared to an axis)

on that note: what's the profile on an AL?

Also, whatever I get it will have to hve a piezo.

I'm holding out for a BFR smoker...:D

LOL now thats funny, need the that grill sucks t-shirt to go with it:D

My 2010 list is now a BP grill, BP AL (coming after NAMM), another amp(in the works), other than that nothing this year all of it should happen pretty quickly.

My first guitar was a 12 string and those double necks seem to be calling my name. I wish the trem (And maybe piezo) option could happen on the six string part of that.

Roasted flame necks....
That's the ticket

My shopping list will include:

1) 10th Anni JP
2) Cherryburst BFR JP7
3) Reflex

Beyond those, (which will be purchased come hell or high water), I'm hoping to finally pick up a Bongo.

Hopefully...

Mark V
Les Paul
Es335 but an Epiphone, don't care much about a Gibson for a semi-hollow
G System

Mark V + G System = awesome!

Why no EBMMs?

I forgot about the Reflex! I'll be getting one as long as there's a piezo option.

I'm dying to get that Mark V and the G System indeed!!!

No EBMM's because I want a Les Paul and they don't make a direct replacement :( I know other guitars are "close" but nothing spot on. I wonder how the Axis SS hardtail compares to a LP hmmm haha

I also wanted a semi-hollow for jazzy/blues stuff which doesn't have to be top of the line since I'm more rock/shred oriented. Looks like the epi fits the bill perfectly.

Besides, I can get most of that stuff cheap from ebay and save some bucks! For example, buying the G System new is kinda pointless. They go for 700-900 almost new on ebay, instead of 1500!

my wish list is as follows..

1. a Luke 1 in blue... always wanted one, could never find one.. maybe this year..

2. I'm maybe in the market for a Reflex... these I have no doubt will be fabulous..:p
