Well, this year I get back to EB guitars.

Top of my list is....

Silhouette Special White SSS, vintage White guard, matching headstock (maybe)

Or Albert Lee SSS, Pacific blue or trans blue, matching headstock

OR the something Silhouette Special BFR

ORR big popa all with the humbuckers.

I like single coil guitars alots but those new AL's really look cool

SO thats my list

any opinions are welcome. My eye are always bigger than my stomach.

I'll probably be ordering a 10th Anniversary JP, either that or a Cherryburst BFR, and then I'm hoping to pick up another 4x12 Mesa and a couple of the stompboxes that I had before I stupidly sold them when I went to the Axe Fx. D'oh.

Well I've got 3 guitars on the wish list. In no specific order.

1. 10th Anniversary JP
2. Cherryburst BFR JP
3. Reflex

I'll probably only have room for one addition this year so I think it's going to be the 10th Anniversary JP. Looking forward to seeing what it looks like.

Hi all !

I'll have a look for an older Axis with natural headstock, 'cause I want to swap the neck of my 1997 Luke with a Axis neck

I'm dying to get that Mark V and the G System indeed!!!

No EBMM's because I want a Les Paul and they don't make a direct replacement :( I know other guitars are "close" but nothing spot on. I wonder how the Axis SS hardtail compares to a LP hmmm haha

I also wanted a semi-hollow for jazzy/blues stuff which doesn't have to be top of the line since I'm more rock/shred oriented. Looks like the epi fits the bill perfectly.

Besides, I can get most of that stuff cheap from ebay and save some bucks! For example, buying the G System new is kinda pointless. They go for 700-900 almost new on ebay, instead of 1500!

I can appreciate that. And an ASS compares pretty nicely to a Les Paul. Not a "direct replacement" but IMO a much better guitar for a much better price.

When you get the G-System, be sure to update the software if it's not already at 4.02. They added a few nice features and completely retuned the reverbs.

Don't forget to get some reinforcement for your back first. I did something to my back carrying my G Sys equipped pedalboard and Lonestar on NYE. Now I can hardly stand up lol.......I think I'll be shopping for a lighter amp that sounds like my Lonestar lol (any ideas?) Maybe TC Electronic will release a guitar set up similar to their Staccato Bass amp :D

What I look for in the Les Paul is that HUGE chord/single note tone and sustain. The JPM is a great shred axe but its pickups don't have it, they're more suited for runs and the like.

Great advice man :) Thought the latest was like v3.0.

Ouch! How about one of those small 5-20 watt heads? Those are really nice sounding and small/light. There's some small head clones here CeriaTone.Com - DIY Guitar Tube Amp Check out the dumble overdrive special clone, sounds great. Also the blackheart mini amps and such.

Funny.. I saw a Ceriatone head on ebay the other day, ready built. Never heard of them before, so did some research. The Dumble clone one certainly does sound very tasty indeed. I reckon it'd sound awesome with the 25th

My hopeful purchase for 2010 is a JP7. Dont care on colo or used or new just really want a 7 string and why not the best!!! Im still debating if I would trade my silo for one, of course with cash on top because a JP7 is a tad more than my Silo is worth.
