this is really sad. I know he has had a bit of a fall from grace in recent times with his abuse of drugs and alcohol but this man brought alot to music, and so for that reason I'll miss him.
I definately raise my glass to him in appreciation. He did more for music than many people can even dream of. Such an inspiration. He will be missed dearly but he's much better off than we are.
what a sad day--
can't even measure the influence that he and all those great bass players that played with him had on us.
