Question Roasted Maple Fretboard

So I guess it's just luck then :) I'm not a huge fan of heavy figuring on the fretboard TBH, so I guess a cleaner fretboard appeals more to me :)

I guess same goes for the body for me. Huge fan of the flame tops, but not so much of the quilt top. Just a personal preference.

I've seen some 15s with INSANE flame or BEM, but mine is as "clean" (unfigured) of a BEM as you can get and still call it BEM. That's my main, albeit small, gripe with it - but it's become familiar so I wouldn't trade it off now :)

It's weird that it's the luck of the draw. I feel something as aesthetically significant as flame maple or BEM would be a deliberate design & construction choice. Oh well. :shrug:
