When will they recognize the man whose strings made all those Fenders and Gibsons sing and started a whole new industry within the industry?

If I heard right on my way to work yesterday, The denied RUSH & K.I.S.S. into the hall of fame? am I having an out of body experiance or is this true? I may be wrong here, but if metallica made it in already, then why not rush? I guess they had an influence on the people? Like Rush didn't *calms back down* Anyhow, The Ball legacy should rightfully be inducted before damn near anyone, seeings how a good majority got there because of them.....Ok I'm done :)

Leo is in it and so is LP. Ernie is right up there (Another conspicuous omission is Bob Moog)

There are only two bands that have more consecutive gold/platinum albums than Rush: The Beatles and the Rolling Stones.

And still they may never get in... Politics

That's one of the most bizarre facts I've ever come across. I couldn't even name a single Rush song.

If you grew up in North America during the seventies you'd know a little bit more about Rush. They're not for everybody but most musicians would agree that when Geddy was hammering on that rick bass with one of the best drummers to ever pick up the sticks- that rhythm section was tight. They influenced a lot of people who turned into successful musicians, some that I'm sure are in the HOF.

Well, to turn this back to honoring the late Ernie Ball, BP, is it okay if one of us starts a Facebook page to get petitions signed to get him into the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame? If we can get something started, I will push this hard on my own web site as well as a few other sites.
