Hi folks, I just wrote up a lengthy post about these demo clips, and then I accidentally closed the browser.

So, suffice it to say: I wrote some music for a short film and had a lot of leftovers. I decided to play the parts written for other instruments on my JP6 to see how they sounded. Here are the results.
Guitar tone = JP6 into Digitech RP355 direct into DAW. Bass = Dargie Delight Bongo 4h direct into DAW.

The pieces are musically related, as portions of them were designed to overlap at various parts in the film. They are still works in progress, very rough and in need of development, but I thought I'd share so you could hear a little of what I've been up to.

Thanks for the Gilmour comparison.. I'm totally not worthy, but I'll take it. :) I'm heavily influenced by Steve Rothery from Marillion, and he's got the Gilmourish thing going, so that's probably how it ended up in my fingers.

I worked on music for a film called "The Door Kept Shut", but the director got way behind in his editing and in the end he had to 'fast track' the project.. so none of the music was used in the film (as far as I know). I'm not sure that there's any music at all in the final cut.. but it was fun and challenging in the process.
