OK, I couldn't resist the temptation for humour........but I went to your sites and the pics are gorgeous. We need to talk. :^>) By the way, I used to be closer to you--Northampton, Massachusetts. I miss home.

Personally speaking, for the few numbers it would get used on, for me a better 12 string option is a Line 6 Variax. 12 string sounds without the tuning hassles! One of my band mates has one, and they are great for this kind of thing.

It changes daily! I am doing 4 gigs a week at the moment, so I rotate them! I played the Amber last night and it sounded and play beautifully. Friday was the sparkles, and Thursday was the EVH. I suppose the cream of the crop would be the red one though. There is some special mojo in that one!

The best way to get us to make a twelve string is for one of our signature artist to request one. In over twenty years none has......

that would tell the tale then, IMO

12 string makes a nice sound, but you are not gonna play one every day. plus, when you have short, fat fingers like me, a 12 string is pretty much impossible to play..:(

I agree with the nay-sayers that a 12-string isn't even a break-even proposition for a company like EBMM - why do you think Fender make 'em and dump 'em as a model every 10 years or so? They just don't sell, except for Rickenbacker... Anyway, another thing I haven't heard anyone mention is where they think the production capacity would come from for a 12-string? If EBMM tooled up for it and wanted to do a run, they'd have to build enough to make the initial run worth while, and since the factory is running at pretty much full capacity now, something would have to give... Remember, the introduction of the Bongo meant the Axis Sport was discontinued!
