Valhalla has been really great and the Kentucky people have just been the warmest and the best.
Ak and Phil made 10 birdies in their afternoon match...the had to Padraig and Grahme made 8

It was really first class competition and sportsmanship,,,,

any chance we'll see you on TV papa?

A better performance from the Euopeans today - cant believe Harrington though...

Tomorrow will be pretty exciting and I wish my team were in the yanks position.

Lets face it though golf is a very odd game....

Go USA and Anthony Kim!
I am a golfer, and as an old fart I'm not very familiar with the regular tour players anymore. I am much more in tune with the senior tour, or the retired guys. Nevertheless, I hope the US kicks some Ryder cup butt! Gooooo Kim, Couples, Watson, Nicklaus, Trevino, Palmer.

RIP Payne Stewart. I miss him.

that was brian..........I was standing next to him when hannah storm was interviewing him. It was a first class sporting event and every body was well behaved. AK just absolutely destroyed Sergio....Pantsed him in front of a room full of cheerleaders.

Think about how much respect azinger had of ak....23 first ryder cup and leads him off against the guy with the best ryder cup record....

Stacey ball got mentioned in the telecast too....

It was just the cherry on the sundae for a long year spent working with AK

Sergio was torched by AK. It was even better that AK did not realize he won the match and had to be told it was over as he was ready to cruise to the next hole to inflict more damage.

Great job by the entire team and I also appreciated the level of excitement shown, especially by AK, during the matches.

Great win for you guys but BP ^^

That sums team USA up for me, I enjoyed the game but not the antics from some USA players, plus the crowds behaviour was not great, I watched the 3 days and booing at missed puts etc. is not good behaviour I am so glad Europe sets an example to the world when the big golf comps are here.

Most European players said the crowd and some of the USA players behaviour was very close to the mark.

Boo Weekley = Dickhead sorry guys!!

Jim That is so funny. Watch the tapes of the last few...... eSergio is the least classy winner in the sport and by the way westwood is a big crybaby. I was there and the fans were great from both sides...There were euros singing a really nasty song about phil mickelsons wife to the tune of mrs robinson...

Boo Weekly was great and better than Sergio screaming at the top of his lungs against stricker before stricker putted....Remember it isnt the open it is the Ryder cup and the fans involvement for many years has been over the top on BOTH sides.

Yep I know its not the open, but golf is golf and if you don't conform to the rules and etiquette the game deserves then you may as well be playing American Football
:D

Westwood was abused badly, references about his mother.

Still enjoyed the whole spectacle and for me the best game was the Jim Furyk/ Miguel Angel Jimenez match played in the spirit of the game. Mutual respect at the end too.

I couldn't watch (spent 27 hours at the bedside of a dying friend) but a buddy of mine was sending me text messages with updates all through the night.

Congratulations to everyone. BOTH teams played fantastic golf. Europe's performance was nothing short of amazing, in every way more than equal to the challenge of winning. The US were simply one step better than amazing!!

And big congratulations to team AK. You can all be very proud of your part in Kim's fantastic achievement.

Congrats to the USA team - it was a great match only spoilt by the fact that it wasn't shown live on "terrestrial" tv - so I had to watch the highlights.

I don't think we should be slinging mud at the crowd antics because it's the same when the teams play in Europe - if players can't cope with it take up needlepoint!! These guys are paid good money and should be expected to cope.

Bring it on in Wales in 2 years time I say!! Knucklehead bash Cardiff 2010 anybody ???

Guys,,

Game?

Little white ball, men with sticks, walking around.

Probably not really worth falling out over eh?
