I’m keeping it. Yea the neck isn’t original and the truss is all kinds of wrong, however I’ve been playing it for almost a week I dig it. Until it stops functioning properly I’m not messing with it. Too bad Ernie ball doesn’t sell individual necks. I have another misfit PRS and it’s funny that it gets as much play as my “perfect” guitars because it plays and sounds awesome. I’m hoping for the same luck with this one.sorry. that guitar is @#$%ed. I'd dump it. As stated earlier, the truss rod needs to push against the neck for tension. Does it rattle around? Regardless, even a good luthier would just end up sistering wood to fill it back in but the fingerboard would be impossible to recover and I would always question the sistering job whether it will shift or creak. It's a shame. Just being honest.
