Hey Rob, what a beautiful child Tom is. Tom and your whole family are in our prayers constantly. It's funny how my 2 year old makes it a point to lead prayer at night (and before meals) starting off w/ Baby Tom. Hang in there bud.

Rob, haven't read all 14pgs, but I wish you and your family the best during these hard times. Try to keep your head up at all times.

Hey Rob...with the size of your collection, Tom will have a flock of guitars to choose from when he is ready.

Maybe BP can make ya a 3/4 scale Al for lil Tom!!!:D

Lets hope he doesnt become a drummer!

I bought an AL into hospital with me, so i can have a twang quietly. Luckily there's a few guitar shops down the road that i havent been to yet, but i might venture out of the hospital for a few hours this afternoon and try see the outside world, and parade my AL around and embarass some Fender dealers. My best line is this "I have this odd looking single coil guitar, and i want something thats better at doing clean tones, do you have any Fenders?" Then i watch with absolute delight as all the guitars they give to me to play get KILLED by the AL, and the shop guys are left dumbfounded. Ah the simple joys of life.

I'm glad to hear that you did not lose your sense of humor!
In Europe it´s 4:30 am, I went home drunk from a party, checking the EBMM Forum and your spell touches me really.

hang in there little dude!
fffffff.jpg

He's already got a G chord down. All he needs now is A and D, and he can play 50% of the songs ever written!!!

I've joined in late on this thread as well. I work in the medical field (ultrasound), and it's always hardest to see ilnesses in children. Despite what the doctors might say, or how touch and go it can seem, a strong will to live and the love a support of a family can do wonders.

I have a feeling little Tom is going to get through this. My family's thoughts and prayers are with you.

He's beautiful...

I've been kinda sick this weekend, and seeing his picture, and reading the stories and whatnot actually made me feel a bit better. Too bad the world can't grasp the idea that wishing the best for other people makes everyone feel a bit better... might be a much better world.
