Hey Dan why no pick guard on the Axis Sport? The finish gets ruffed up a little. Was this done on purpose for some reason? Nice axe anyway. The G12414 that is.

Originally, we were putting pickguards on the Sport and we offered that guitar in HSS, HH, and SSS configurations. After a couple of years, the decision was made to drop all but the HH and, when we shipped a whole bunch to Germany without the pickguard, we liked the way they looked so much better that way, we decided to drop the pickguard. Just one'a those things ..... ;)

Here is a suggestion I often throw out there ... check out this product: Clear Pickguard for acoustic or electric guitars - Guitar Armor

What I like about this is you can keep the same look and still protect your guitar. Best of both worlds!

WOW! 3 EVHS's!

86195 - Trans Purple built on 08/11/94 and shipped to the now-defunct Luchetti's in New Mexico ..

81842 - Trans Gold built on 8/20/92 and shipped to Bill's (Salem) Music in Salem, MA. He's still there, though the store has since moved to Peabody ....

81293 - Trans Green  (one of less than 80 made of that finish), built on 06/18/92 and originally shipped to GC #440 in Dallas, Texas.

sweet additions to your collection!
