EVHMM 80115 red
EVHMM 83116 blue (was stolen, but recovered now!!)
EVHMM 85683 blue (to replace above, now my brother's)

I actually called EBMM about 12-14 years ago to ask if they had any kind of 'registration' of who/where their EVH guitars were. I love this idea now.

My brother's big into EBMM too and just got me on to this site. Well done and excellent!

Tks! :D

Hi there again!

I know, probably You won't be able to tell me anything about this one - but hey, just for the record:

1987 Silhouette (Schaller pickups and Schaller non-trem bridge, body and elecrtonics from 1986), quite unique (looks like a prototype) and beat up visually, but mechanically and electrically in great shape

s/n 87039

If You do have some info though - e.g. based on which principle the number stamps were given back then and does this mean I have number 39 from the beginning? - I would greatly apreciate it!!!

Hello yet again...

May I request DOB information on Serial number 97648 please?

Many thanks!

Hey, Grumpy, this is trick - two Silhouette Specials in Pearl Purple in a row, albeit this one is an SSS, otherwise identical - this one was completed on 5/10/96. Nice! Originally shipped to Saint Charles Music Exchange in St. Louis, MO.

I should note - the earliest Specials (introduced in 1995) did not actually have the word "Special" on the headstock, but they are easily identified by having only 22 frets. Also, the original 3 finishes offered were Pearl Purple, Pearl Green, and Candy Red. At first all had the Wilkinson trem, Grover locking tuners, and white pearloid pickguards. The next year we offered the Specials with a hard-tail option and started making other changes regarding the tremolo (Music Man) and the tuners (Schaller M6-INDs)

Enjoy!

DK, you certainly have a vintage guitar there. I can't verifiy that it was the 39th one ever made, but it is probably pretty close to that - it could be even earlier, because some necks with lower numbers may have not been used.... We put the serial numbers on the neck in the earliest days. I wish the records still were available somewhere for those. What color is it? Do you have a pic?

Hi,

Can I please get the official scoop that you have on record for ASS SN# G41282 ?

Thanks!

DJ, absolutely! Your Vintage burst Axis SS MM90 (fully equipped with piezo and tremolo) was completed 6/3/08 and was sent to the good folks at Ye Olde Music Shop near Charleston, SC - but I am guessing you knew that!! ;)

Nice! Very nice! :D:D
