Welcome!

Hi everybody!

I've just received my Luke BFR with serial number G39738. It would be cool to know its birthday and origins, so we can celebrate ;)

Birthday is coming up! DOB: December 3, 2007 It was originally sent to our UK distributor, Strings & Things

What's the DOB and origin of this beauty please? I'm pretty sure origin would have to be GC or MusiciansFriend (same company) since I don't see them anywhere else.

Hi Garrett,

Since we here at the Music Man factory do not produce or distribute the Sterling by MM line, we do not have serial number info for these. Here is a link to the contact info for Praxis Musical who make these instruments: http://www.ernieball.com/forums/mus...sterling-music-man-2010-usa-contact-info.html

So is Sterling like the red-headed step-child of Ernie Ball???
Or is it better to say that it's not part of the Ernie Ball family at all but part of the Music Man family? Am I in the wrong forum? My poor little orphan Silo is about to suffer an identity crisis. :p
