MusicMan Sabre

Sabre, dark green, almost looks black, Serail number C004747. I believe it's an early 1979 model. Black pick guard, rosewood neck, ash body.

Virgil,

Unfortunately, we do not have serial number information for pre-Ernie Ball instruments. This is a Sabre guitar, not bass, correct? If so, you are most likely correct as these were apparently in production from 1977-81.

melodiarhythm, your Pinkburst Albert Lee was completed on 7/15/94 and sent to Australia. At the time, the Albert was only available in this color. The wood we have always used on the Albert is swamp ash, with of course, an all-maple neck. The pickups are the same custom-wound Seymour Duncans that we still use today on the guitar.

There were less than 400 total Alberts made in this color, which was in production from 1993 to 1998.

Nice!

Bernd, "not even broken in yet" just means that it's just getting started. Almost brand new.

Enjoy!
