dojo,

Your Axis Sport SSS in Vintage Sunburst was completed on 7/18/97 and shipped to Discount Music in Bountiful, Utah. Nice guitar, not too common, bet it sings!

Hi Dan, Please run my new EVH 80421. Thanks!

No problem, Jim, your trans blue Axis was completed on 8/8/91 and sent to the old Veneman's Music Company in Rockville, Maryland.

Wow ... the last 2 ser # inquiries have both been about trans blue EVH's - and if that weren't enough of a coincidence, one was from the last year of production and the other was from the first .... when's the next bus to the Twilight Zone?

Anyway - great looking guitar! :)

Actually, what happened was, in 1999, Veneman's learned that Guitar Center was coming to town. So instead of trying to compete with them, in April of 2000 Veneman's sold out to them including the building, merchandise, even the phone number. It became known as "Guitar Center Veneman Music". Now it's just Guitar Center. The same thing happened with the old Rhythm City Music in Atlanta.

lenny, this one was built on 12/27/01 and was originally built to go overseas, but that order finally fell through, and on 6/28/02 your Albert Lee was shipped to Perkins Music House in East Winthrop, Maine, where it has been patiently waiting for a home until you snatched it up. It is probably the only Albert Lee guitar in that color ever built for production.

It still has a full factory warranty, so you should reigister it here: http://www.ernieball.com/mmonline/registration/ (even if it didn't have a warranty, you could still register it).

Nice guitar!

Mark, welcome aboard, both to the Forum and the world of Music Man guitars, crazy as it is sometimes. Your left-handed Axis SuperSport in Candy Red finish was completed on 2/12/04 before being shipped to the UK. Did you buy it new?
