From the serial # is there a way to deduce what # guitar you have? i.e. where it fell in the production run...number "x" of xxxx?

Alas, we have no secret code to our serial numbers. Instruments built around the same time may have serial numbers near each other, but other than that, the only way to find out would be ask us and we can punch it into our database and find the date for you :)
