Hey Dan,
I recently aquired a pretty new (I think it is less than 2 years old) fully loaded Silhouette. I would love to know the DOB, where it shipped and the color if you have access to that information. It looks similar to Orange Firemist, but not quite. Seems a bit darker. I am also hoping to use this information to determine which pickups are in it. I think they are Virtual PAFs (they look like them), but I believe DiMarzio stopped making them so I'm not sure.

The S/N is G36494.

Thanks for your help in advance.

G47273.

I'm betting this one went to that particular store for the 25th Anniversary tour, but I could be wrong. It says some things I've never seen on an EBMM box. It says "PO #418592-06 Attn: Vince Mattigs!" I think that particular Vince is one of the managers there. Vince apparently wants that store to be the biggest EBMM seller amongst the Michigan GCs.

Unfortunately, I didn't make that event, but I'm happy Detroit got one of those events. It would certainly be cool if Luke, Morse, or BP played it, but I doubt it.

Yeah, this was completed on 05/14/09 and was originally going to be shipped to GC's distribution center, but we ended up shipping to the Roseville (Detroit) store, which, I believe, was the first stop of the GC 25th Tour? Coud be wrong on that though ...

ghynes, this Desert Gold Silhouette was completed on 7/26/07. DiMarzio has discontinued the Virtual PAFs for individual sale, but they still make them custom for us. It was shipped to Music Stop Warehouse in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Sure, and congratulations on it! Your guitar (Axis SuperSport Honeyburst maple) was completed on 10/10/08 and went on the boat to the U.K.

Dan, you sure it's honeyburst? On the pic's (The guitar has not yet arrived here), it looks like Cherryburst.

If it's honeyburst I'm even more excited because it's my all-time favorite color! :D

yeah, based on the serial number info in the system, that's what it is. The colors in pictures can be deceiving sometimes. Plus, we do a lot more Honeyburst than Cherryburst.

Recently purchased my very first music man.
It's an Music Man SUB 1 Guitar in Black.
Coil Split on the new Dimarzo Pickup was installed by the previous owner.
Can you tell me the DOB of my "new" guitar?

X11777

btw: It plays, feels and sounds great!
