Hey guys. Well, today is the day that my Carbon Blue Pearl loses her virginity. My band is playing a huge show today. This is our first show since I made her mine a couple of months ago. It is a local benefit organized by the bands with 3500 tickets already sold, and an expected turn out of 4000 people. Today, each and every one of those people will feel the power of "The Ball!" :D

The funny part is, that I am more excited about debuting the MMJP then I am playing the show. That says something about these guitars. In my entire time of playing and gigging, I have never been more excited about a guitar then a show. There is something very strange in these guitars...:) Wish her luck, everyone.

Thanks Philip! :) If there is any justice in the world, then they will surely be in awe of the guitars beauty. Soory guys. I guess I suffer a bit from "Proud Owners Syndrome".

AWESOME! There is no shame in showing off your axe with pride! How about some pics of the show when you are done......we would love to see you and the Pet in action! In fact, it is now mandatory so you better have someone getting those Kodak moments or else!

Thanks guys! Yeah, it should be a good show. Not to mention, it's for a good cause. Oh, and no worries. There will be NO Pirate shirts or Yngwie poses. Let's just say that I could never be confused for the worlds biggest Yngwie fan. I guess I just don't feel "The Fury." Anyway, I thought I would post the setlist for by MM bretheren who cannot be there. Here is what we will be performing:

Voices (Original)
I Walk Beside You (Dream Theater)
Always Tomorrow (Original)
The Hand That Feeds (Nine Inch Nails)
Living Doll (Original)
Wasting Away (Original)
Any Way You Want It (Journey)

Update:

Hey guys! Well, the show turned out fine. The band played well, and the Pet was a trooper. THe benefit was for a local guy who was diagnosed with ALS. I think that we all know what a terrible disease that ALS can be. Especially, seeing what it did to Jason Becker. I would just like to say my heart goes out to him and his family. He was recently diagnosed, and the inability to move his limbs and articulate his words has already set in. His brother spoke at the event and he attempted to thank everyone for putting this together for him. I have to say that it was one of the most heartbreaking things I have ever seen.

Overall, 3500 + tickets were sold for the event. Not everyone attended. But there was still a very nice turnout for the event, and those who didn't come down at least saw their money donated to a very important, worthwhile cause. Ok, so to lighten things up a little, here are a few pics of my baby in action. I would just like to once again, emphasize that I LOVE THESE GUITARS!!! Enjoy!
