Phil...LLove the green pet!!!!

I'd love to have a guitar and/or an amp in the same finish as the chair behind your guitars....THAT would ROCK

cheers!!!

Thanks Jeffrey, the green Pet is actually Mystic Dream. As far as the chair goes, its my grandmother's and I don't like it at all haha. I definitely wouldn't wanna see a guitar that same color. :D

Sure seems like we have a lot of Mesa users on this forum. Thats a good thing though :D. Mesa's rule. It also seems like they're alot of people using the MXR EVH Phase 90 which is cool too cuz its an awesome pedal. There's my thought for the moment.

I've had 2 of them and both went Poof along with my back! The first one stayed in the house for a few months of playing. The other, on many gigs.....Love the tone....didn't like the reliability.

I went with the Stiletto and it's awesome.

Well, I haven't had any problems with my Roadster, but, oh well... I suggest trying out a Mark IV HEAD. The combos sound quite different and from what I've ascertained on the Boogie Board, the Mark IV combos are the most finicky, as in, they don't really sound close to the head version like the other amps do. Don't know why, but you might wanna give it a shot.

But then again, seeing as you liked the Roadster, by all means. It's awesome. :D

Well, I have some pictures of my amps, but the smallest one is something like 2 megabytes in size, and I have no idea how to shrink them down to a fittable size. So, here's my list of amplifiers and related equipment:

*Fender*
-Deluxe Reverb 1x12" Combo
-'59 Bassman LTD Reissue 4x10" Combo

*Marshall*
-1959SLP Reissue Head
-JCM 800 2203 Head
-1960V Straight Cabinet

*Mesa Boogie*
-Mark I Reissue Head
-Mark IIC+ Head
-3 Channel Dual Rectifier Solo Head
-4x12" Rectifier Standard Straight Cabinet
-4x10" Lone Star Cabinet

*Vox*
-Ac30HH Reissue Head

What happened to the Roadster you had? By the way, how's the Mark IIC+? I'm sure it kicks some ass. You should post up some youtube videos using the IIC+, I'd be interested in hearing it.

here's mine for may Axis.

Mesa Quad preamp, g-major,axess GRX4, mxr dynacomp, super chili picoso, 295 simulclass mesa, 2 1912 marshall loaded with V30

Why don't you have the 2:95 and the Quad in the same rack? ( jk ) I heard that the 295's weigh more than the 2:90. That true?

Here is this week's pedalboard setup which goes into a Tech 21 Power Engine. Plenty loud for any NYC club. It's funny because when I moved to NY, I came with a 14 space rack (FULL) and two 2x12 cabinets. I learned fast. If I can't fit it in the back of a taxi, it ain't leavin' the house.

There are some very nice rigs out there among the forum members.

I'm just a hobby/play at home guy so here is my humble combo - for now, at least. I can see a Mesa Express 5:25 as a replacement for this; amp GAS is just as bad as guitar GAS!

photo.jpg

Well sometimes the grass isn't greener  - I spent some holiday cash on an Express 5:25 on Monday. After spending some time a/b-ing the Mesa and Rivera the Mesa is going back.

For me there's just seems to be something going on with the Rivera and my Silo Special that really keeps me playing that just wasn't there with the Mesa, and couldn't be heard until I had them side-by-side. Unfortunately now I'll have a "store credit" on the amp; maybe it's time to get a nice accoustic with the credit since I'm set on electrics now (and this store doesn't carry EBMMs).
