Hey guys:

OK, so I have decided to ditch the EMGs (that don't work) in my Blue Dawn Silo Special and revert to the original EBMM SSS Silent Circuit that the seller included in a ziplock bag. The good news here is that the entire pickup wiring is intact (all knobs, super switch, silent circuit can, etc). And the quick disconnect molex is there.

Unfortunately the tech who installed the (not working) EMG setup cut the quick disconnect molex off the output jack, but i have it, so I just need to solder that back on.

But here's the question: I don't see anywhere on this wiring where the battery leads should connect to. Does it go to the jack or something? Anybody got a Silo Special SSS Silent Circuit wiring diagram? Thanks for any help you can give!!!

Sent you a PM!

Thanks @kimonostereo. Unfortunately, the AL SSS schematic you sent isn't working for me because (a) my Silo Special has a super switch with about 180 ;) contacts; and (b) it doesn't show where the battery box wiring is supposed to connect. I THINK it's actually in the output jack area (AFTER the molex quick disconnect) so it's not on the diagram.

Hoping A.J. can help?

-Jeff

Hey Jeff-

I don't have that particular diagram but most of the non-piezo guitars with a silent circuit have the battery wired to the output jack. There's a connection for the ground and +9V. (The plug connects the ground from the battery to the guitar, completing the circuit.) From there, the molex connector is wired to the output jack.
