Slap Bass - Flatwound Strings vs. Roundwound Strings

@backagain: I don't change flats often. My LaBellas are close to 9 years old, the JOs I leave too. My TIs are probably a year old, and no need to change them for another 2 years... The Chromes I will change maybe once a year, don't know about EBs because I just put them on a few months ago. I'll get back to you in a year.

I was wondering if I was the weird one. I've changed my EB flats once since I've switched a couple of years ago. The intonation is still great. Which is why I asked about slapping with flats. I really don't want to change my strings, they're less than a year old.

Just for the record Ed, I really like your reviews.

IMO I think it's good to keep the same lick the whole review process. I think it makes it easier to hear the subtle changes in tones while swiching threw pickup combinations.
